Girl Scout Stew Recipe
This Recipe is meant for Scouts BSA, Webelos scouts.
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1 onion
1 can Rotel tomatoes
2 cans Alphabet soup
1 can Veg-All (or other mixed veggies)

Instructions:
Brown ground beef in dutch oven.
Add sausage and brown.
Chop onion and add to meat.
Cook until onions are tender.
Add remaining ingredients. Let cook approximately 30 minutes.
While the stew is cooking, slice a loaf of french bread. Butter each slice and sprinkle with garlic powder. Wrap the loaf in foil and heat over the dutch oven. Very useful for wiping out the soup bowls!
Serves about 6

All dutch oven recipes use a 12-inch dutch oven, unless specified. If you have a 10-inch dutch oven, use about 2/3 to 3/4 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If no temperature is listed, use 350 degrees.

We make this, only without the sausage. We also add a can of Coke, and usually an extra can of vegetables.
