| This Game is meant for Boy Scouts. Decide for yourself if it is appropriate for your younger scouts or not. | |
| Preparation: | Draw parallel lines about 10 feet apart and 30 feet long. |
| Notes: | It works better to have team members line up by increasing size so opponents are more nearly matched. |
| Instructions: | Line up even number of scouts from each patrol facing each other between the parallel lines. Have the scouts close enough that they can almost put their hand on their opponent's shoulder. Each scout lifts his left leg straight out forward and grabs the left leg of his opponent with his right hand. On 'Go' signal, each scout tries to hop backwards and pull his opponent with him over the goal line behind him. To make it more of a group tussle, have each scout hold the legs on both his right and left sides. This should create a long, connected team of one-legged scouts all pulling against the other patrol. |
