Preparation

When you take on the job of den chief, discuss the following with your den leader and either the Cubmaster or your troop, ship, or crew leader:
  • The importance of the attitude of service and leadership within Scouting
  • The attitude regarding service and leadership within the den
  • The length of service to the pack
  • The need to carry and use the Den Chief handbook
