Boy Scout Adult Leader Uniforms
Adults should set a good example of appropriate uniform policy. These pages should help you with that. Placement of badges, pins, square knots, and patches are explained since this is one of the areas where uniforms are implemented incorrectly.
Adult leaders in the Boy Scout program demonstrate their role through the wearing of appropriate uniforms, much as the scouts. The Boy Scouts of America have always worn uniforms to identify members and to announce the principles of the program - character development, citizenship, and physical and mental fitness. The adult uniform also displays awards for the leader's individual training, accomplishments, and recognitions.
